The Daniel Defense A1.5 Fixed Rear Sight is a lightweight, streamlined fixed sight solution for the AR platform. The intelligent minimalist design reduces bulk and weight and doesn't impede the use charging handle. The patented "Rock and Lock" one piece mounting system is easy to use and robust. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a MIL-SPEC hardcoat anodized finish, this sight is perfect for shooters who want the simplicity of a fixed iron sight on their free float handguard.

Well worth the wait

Daniel Defense is a bit behind, it was 24 hours from the time I was notified, and ordered till I had it in hand and headed to the range. If you're like me and the whole flip and fold sight is too much, this works great. Backed up with a PA micro dot, and you are good to go.
