The Daniel Defense A1.5 Fixed Rear Sight is a lightweight, streamlined fixed sight solution for the AR platform. The intelligent minimalist design reduces bulk and weight and doesn't impede the use charging handle. The patented "Rock and Lock" one piece mounting system is easy to use and robust. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a MIL-SPEC hardcoat anodized finish, this sight is perfect for shooters who want the simplicity of a fixed iron sight on their free float handguard.

Quality, durability.

Quality you'd expect and durable. Fixed sights are kind of an older shooters preference it seems in modern times, but I thoroughly have been impressed with anything Daniel Defense has to offer, their rifles and accessories have no difference in terms of quality.

Off-Center Large Aperture

The large aperture was off-center on the sight I received. While it isn't a big deal functionally I'm not paying a premium for the Daniel Defense logo slapped onto an item with poor quality control. Not impressed.

Making win safe adjustments can be somewhat difficult, you have to depress a button to turn. NBD really, just be aware. Weighs next to nothing.
