Mil-spec Perfect
by Gun Guy
I will continue to use these. The fit and finish are excellent. They have no logos or branding on them, which is one of the main reasons I use them. The edges are just smooth enough to help retain the anodize. Clean cut threads.
Perfect!

As someone else mentioned, I loved the fact that it's black. Replaced my Spike's (grey) tube with this one.

Works perfectly.
Great tube. I guess?

Whats to say? Its one of those parts you really dont notice unless it goes bad. Specs say its made of 7075 instead of the cheaper 6060 aluminum. The finish is fine, it fit my reciever just fine and it hasnt failed. I wish it had an inconspicuous DD logo somewhere so id know who made it years from now when ive forgotten, but otherwise nothing to complain about.
Good mil-spec tube

Not marked as DD

This Buffer Tube is exactly as described except there's nothing to indicate it to be affiliated with Daniel Defenses except the price. I was willing to pay more money for a brand name. On my next build, I'll probably just buy the cheaper one.

Product in excellent condition. Great service, extremely fast shipping.
CRAP! Ridges inside both tubes.
by Scott
Ordered two of these Daniel Defense tubes for a couple of new builds. Came in nice cardboard tube marked DD-21001.I unpackaged them. They look fantastic on the outside, but the inside is really important to the functioning of the rifle.I put my finger into the tube and felt significant concentric ridges. I got my flashlight out.Looking down the tube there are very wide and large inconsistancies in the tube down nearly the entire length which would introduce resistance to the spring as it is compressed. I'm talking relatively large ridges.I thought maybe I got one bad one, but I checked the second and it suffer the same problem.I pulled out a LMT tube I had ready for another build. No ridges in the LMT tube.IS DANIEL DEFENSE GETTING LAZY ABOUT THEIR QUALITY? I suggest anyone who bought this tube check for this defect. The tube should be smooth inside.Very disappointed and will return them immediately. What a waste of time for me.
