It Works Great

First off, Primary Arms has become my number one shop for customer service and speed of shipping. Keep-up the good work.
Owning and building several kits over the years, this ones a winner. I own several AR variants (low to hi-end). I had an extra receiver and decided to build a budget plinker with this kit. Kit was easy to build and parts were GTG and in spec. Took it out and put 50 flawless rounds through it. I got the kit on sale, so I probably have less that $500 into the rifle. For that price, I'm more than happy with this range plinker.

I forgot to add some specs. for those that care about such things. 1/9 Nato marked barrel with medium profile (thicker than rest of barrel) under single heatshield handguards. Full-auto properly staked Bolt carrier with HPT/MPI marked bolt. (I also have one of Del-Tons M4 kit, but that came with a semi-auto bolt carrier?). H1 marked buffer. I'm assuming it's a mil-spec buffer tube, but I didn't check it. I'm actually running mine with an A1 stock. With the rifle buffer, it's extremely smooth with very little recoil. The trade off is more overall weight. But it does feel "more solid" for those that are use to a heavier battle rifle.
Can't beat this quality, especially for the price!
Extremely nice for the price. Fit and finish was excellent. Everything was in spec and went together nicely. 100% function right after the build and the barrel is very accurate. This kit is a complete win. Thanks PA for the super quick shipping too.
Possible bad upper/BCG?

Bought this kit in February of 2017. Everything fit together nicely. My issue was after test firing it. I got through about 14 rounds when the bolt seized in the bolt carrier. A gas ring managed to pop off and wedge itself between the bolt and bolt carrier. All parts were cleaned and well-lubed before test firing. I replaced the gas rings, inspected for damage, and went to test fire the rifle again and the same thing happened again.
Luckily, Del-Ton has been very responsive and working towards replacing parts needed.
RKT104 is a good value

I assembled this kit on top of an Aero lower and topped it off with an Anderson carry handle with large and small apertures built in. Everything went together with no problems. Since this was my first Del-ton rifle/kit, I had a local gunsmith check the headspace and the headspace was indeed good to go.

I took it to the range to check the functionality with live ammo and sight it in. From the bench, using 5.56 Prvi Partizan 55 grain ammo in three shot groups, it consistently shot sub MOA. We only shot about 75 rounds, but there were no failures to feed, fire, or eject. For a $511 rifle, I was impressed; so impressed I came home from the range and ordered another Del-ton kit, RKT106.

Del-ton kits are a good alternative to higher priced AR for someone on a budget or who just wants save some money for more ammo.
