Nice Barrel
by Steve -
I read all the reviews on this barrel and decided to take a chance. It has turned out to be very accurate and I have zero issues with FTF. When I received the barrel I examined the feed throats and found very sharp edges on both. I stoned and polished all the edges. I cannot say if this helped or not as I did the smoothing prior to the installation.
I also ran my can and the pistol still worked like a champ!
Couldn’t be happier

Build: Aero Precision upper and lower, FailZero nickel BCG, LE145 Tactical Trigger, titanium 7.62x39 specialized firing pin, Primary Arms SLx 1-6x24mm FFP Rifle Scope.
Barrel: I polished the ramps prior to installing and coupled with notching my ASC magazines with a dremel, have NEVER had any feed issues. I’ve used Red Army, Monarch, Tula and Wolf ammo. I am very pleased with the unexpected accuracy of 1MOA.
Accurate and well made

I purchased this for my pistol build on sale. The nitriding is nice and even. There is a dimple for the gas block. It is surprisingly accurate at 25 & 50 yards using iron sights. This is the perfect size to have some serious self-defense oomph on you at all times! With sale pricing, I should have bought another one just to have as an extra. Love it!
Awesome accuracy for a 10.5” barrel

Put all 20 rounds of some cheap Russian steel cased ammo in a paper plate at 100 yards. I wasn’t expecting accuracy like that. Very pleased with the price also. Great deal.

Upgraded my DB15 AR47 from a 7in to a 10in Barrel. Lots of reviews say 10-14 is a better length for 7.62, especially with a suppressor.
Great Barrel, Much Success
by Justin
I've had great success with this barrel. Running on an lower with an extra power hammer spring and an enhanced firing pin fed from ASC 20 round magazines. It is overgassed, the port being .096 but reliable. With an Omega which is a gassy can already it was unpleasant, a Gemtech bolt carrier made is delightful. Has run great with Wolk, Barnul, Brown Bear and Red Army Standard, without issues. All FMJ though, I've not tried HP or SP in it. Boring reliable and super fun. Built as a way to shoot the cheapest ammo during the pandemic and it has become my favorite rifle.
We are happy to see you have that running so well over a variety of ammo and having a good time.
Very good budget barrel

First let me say this Barrel shoots 7.62 X 39mm accurately and it definitely likes steel case ammunition, and for the price it's at its worth buying. Diamondback does not disappoint!!!
Great Barrel

Just purchased from Primary Arms, installed, and took to the range. 3" groups at 100 yards all day, and I am not the best shooter. The change in weight from a heavy barrel is very much worth it.
Highly recommended.
Awesome Barrel
by JM
Used this on a budget build truck pistol, runs like a champ, 0 issues. I can tag steel plates at 100 yds all day with it.
Good value, surprisingly accurate
by Brad Karlovec
Built an upper using this barrel just before the start of rona, luckily I've been able to get my hands on ammo the whole time. I've had no issues with reliability, or feeding many different types of ammunition. The nitriding on this barrel is remarkably even and nice, and ridiculously hard. At ~90 yards it's shooting a 1 inch ish hole, which is better than was expected. It loves and I mean LOVES wolf and tula 122 grain steel case
