Disappointed!
by Stephen -
Mags seem well constructed and single fed well but when trying to load multiple rounds they would not feed into my rifle at all and it was all I could do to strip the rounds by hand. I didn't purchase these for single round feeding and will try to tweek and polish the feed lips on one and see what happens. I will update with my results.
Best 6.5 Grendel Magazine
by Ben -
I believe I have tried every brand of dedicated 6.5 Grendel magazine on the market and E-Lander is by far the best. They are steel so they are a bit heavier than some, but they feed like butter. Both the 24 and 17 round magazines (I haven't tried the ten rounders) fit perfectly in a mil-spec mag well and practically launch themselves out upon release. It is not, however, overly difficult to insert a full mag with a closed bolt. E-Lander magazines are now the only 6.5 Grendel mags I will use.
Great mag

Works great, fits great with a 6-9 bipod. No issues to date. I have this and the 24 round, and both work great
Great product

Early impressions... seems like a winner

Since I haven’t finished my 6.5 Grendel build yet, I can’t really give a functionality review.
First impression is this is the prettiest metal magazine I’ve bought. Not sure how the finish will hold up to use but its appearance is top notch. The finish extends to the inside of the mag so should be slick w/o lube for as long as the finish holds up. Follower looks/feels good with good anti-tilt features. Spring is stiffer than what I like but not to the point of being a problem.
The ones I received were made in Israel. I won’t need more for my Grendel but if I see them on sale for 7.62 NATO, I’d buy them if the price is right. Probably the most expensive AR-15 magazines I own but they are easy to differentiate from my 6.8 SPC steel mags. Which is what I was after for this purchase.
High hopes, but a big let down.

I've had this magazine for a year now and it absolutely will not function in my 6.5 Grendel, with any ammo I've tried reliably. It will feed a couple when it feels like it but it leaves horrible mars across the case and the way it feeds caused the tips of the rounds to become disfigured which also effects accuracy. I've tried tinkering with the feed lips and even sanded down the front lip of the mag to help give the rounds clearance but even after all that it never seemed to help. I ended up shelving the mag and buying some Duramags and they have been great.
It was nice speaking to you about this issue and per our conversation, we will have that sent out to you. Please let us know if we may help you with anything else.

Magazines have preformed well. Primary Arms service and shipping is fantastic.
Works great!

I have a very picky, multi-cal, billet receiver set from JoeBob's. ASC mags were too short from mag-catch to feed lips for the GrendelHunter BCG to pick-up my rounds. Plastic PMAGs did not feed either. These ELander mags feed awesome and I haven't had a single issue since! These are the same height from mag-catch to feed lip as factory M4 metal mags.
worked great!
