Expo Arms AR-15 Ambidextrous Safety Selector

Other said it stick out a little on the side. Bullshit. This thing in damn near falling out of the lower. I would not trust this on a firearm. Sending it back asap.

Ordered 2 to upgrade some lowers. The fit is good on both an aero M4e1 lower and M5 lower. There is some small movement whether in safe or fire. Roughly 1/16th of an inch of play but does not affect operations as of now. I've tried to get it to move position or out of safety and it wouldn't unless you intentionally switch from safe to fire like a safety selector should. For the price you really can't beat it.

I actually prefer the extra couple hundredths of space it has on the right side. It makes for an easier throw. Why didnt i do this sooner. Honestly i wish I had one on my service rifle back in the day. Only issue I had was with my superior arms I had to pull the trigger pin to make the swap. It was a pain to reinstall for some reason it wouldn't line up right away. Thats what aluma black is for.

This is an excellent AR-15 ambi safety selector at a very good price! I have them installed in Colt, PSA. IWI and Brownell's lower receivers, they fit and work perfectly in them all! No problems with fit or function with any of the Expo Ambi safety selector I have purchased!

I *love* expi's m-lok handguards, so when i saw that they make an ambi safety selector for a great price, i jumped on it without hesitation. sadly, i cannot recommend it for two reasons.
1) when i'm holding my rifle's pistol grip with my trigger finger bladed out of the trigger-guard, and i try to flip off the safety with my thumb, the lever of the safety-selector on the side of my trigger finger hits my finger, which prevents the safety from moved to the fire position.
2) mycmmg safety is *awesome.* it cli ks positively and fully into position with zero slop. this expo safety selector has play/slop in it.

i will contunue to buy expi rails, and will consider other products they produce, will not be buying them blindly.

Its not sexy but it works awesome! I tried others that looked better but this is now on my favorite rifle as well as my "beat it up rifle". Now my go to switch. Crisp and easy.

This safety is smooth, positive, practical, and gives that mil-spec look on both sides. I would not hesitate to purchase again

These are made by Schmid Tool and as such, are a quality part. Schmid Tool selectors and FCGs are OEM components in several prominent suppliers to our military and other agencies.
The detents are very crisp/positive and the fit to true mil-dimensioned lowers is excellent.

I tried this part on a number of AR15 and AR10 receivers and it was too wide for any of them. I do not see any way to "fit" this part. Returning. Otherwise it seemed well made.
