The Expo Arms H1 Carbine Buffer is an easy, cost-effective enhancement for your AR-15. If your rifle is excessively gassed or you want to minimize recoil, upgrading to a 3.8 oz heavy buffer can make a substantial difference compared to the standard AR-15 carbine buffer. These buffers are constructed with a machined aluminum body, a long-lasting black hardcoat anodized finish, and a blue rubber bumper that dampens recoil. The 3.25" Carbine Buffer is compatible with MIL-SPEC and Commercial spec AR-15 receiver extensions and is proudly manufactured in the United States.

Nice Buffer

Another fine product from Expo. I have yet to be disappointed by anything from Expo Arms. Nice fit and finish on this buffer. Can't see paying more for another brand when this is available. Weight was 3.86oz on my scale. Exactly what a H1 is suppose to weigh.
great buffer for the price

I replaced the H3 buffer I initially installed in my 7.5" that made the gun short stroke. This 4.0 oz buffer allowed the AR pistol cycle properly. Should have bought this from the get go...

Works perfectly. Slight improvement over the 3 oz. stock buffer. The only issue I have, and I won't bother pulling a star because the price was so good, is that this came in at 3.6 oz. instead of 4.
I'll go ahead and order the 4.6 and the 5.3 and see if they'll smooth it even further and still manage to feed properly.

My awesome AR build just took a big forward.
And the Expo Arms Spring I ordered with this new buffer was really nice too.
Smoothed out the recoil and made it shoot like a dream.

This will be my third Expo Arms H1. Only one has had the smallest rattle from loose weights inside. Coating has some room for improvement. However, it is only a buffer, if you send enough down the pipe like any rifle should put some wear on even the most durable coated buffers. Pinned well, zero change of slipping. So functionality gets this 5 out of 5 stars from me for the small price tag.
From Primary Arms I can't as for much more. I placed my order Friday evening. On Monday my fairly large order arrived by USPS!
Does exactly what it's supposed to

Works exactly as it's supposed to, smoothed out a PSA carbine rifle just fine. Finish was nice, and the color coded bumper is a nice touch for easily keeping different weights straight. I've used a few other Expo buffers and the bright colors make it easy to grab the right one out of the parts bin, or to pop it out and check your weight when you run multiple uppers on the same lower . A small but useful feature.

This 4 oz buffer relaxes the stock KAK carbine buffer. I’m running a 10.3” .070 gas port stock buffer spring and it was smooth and locked back in last round. The best value in the industry and the paper targets in the PA Packages are a nice touch! Shipping is always on point with PA! 5 starts for product and 5 stars for PA
