Expo Arms Handguards are machined from high-quality 6061-T6 aluminum bar stock for a slim profile with plenty of M-LOK slots for grips, lights, and other accessories. This free float handguard comes with a 6061-T6 aluminum barrel nut and anti-rotation tabs for a strong lock-up on any Mil-Spec receiver.
- Black hardcoat anodized finish
- Full M-LOK compatibility (7 sides)
- Anti-rotation tabs
- 6061-T6 aluminum construction and barrel nut
- Slim profile design
- Compatible with all Mil-Spec upper receivers
- 13" length
- 10.8 oz weight
At 13 inches, this M-LOK handguard runs well on any 16" AR-15, and the generous internal diameter leaves room for a low-profile gas block without crowding the bore. The anti-rotation tabs keep the aluminum barrel nut from shifting under recoil, so the rail stays timed correctly to the upper receiver over repeated use. Whether you're starting a new build or upgrading an older AR-15, the slim profile and full 7-sided M-LOK compatibility give you mounting flexibility without adding unnecessary bulk up front.
Expo Arms builds AR-15 components aimed at hard-use builds, offering the rail space and durability serious shooters need without the premium price tag of boutique brands.

(Expo Arms 13" Handguard)
**UPDATE**
**Just installed it today. After contacting PA to inquire about the proper torque spec for the handguard bolts (the box did not include these details)
they recommended 20 to 25 inch pounds, as well as thread locker.**
Of all the handguards that I've installed, this one has been the most surprising. See pros & cons below:
Pros:
* Lightweight
* Excellent machining. Very smooth edges, and no blemishes or tooling marks anywhere. This is one of the most comfortable handguards I own.
* Outstanding finish. No scratches or inconsistencies anywhere.
* Very secure lockup system using three socket head cap screws, one of which engages with the barrel nut.
* No timing required for gas tube installation.
* Anti rotation tabs ensure an easy, and secure mating to the upper receiver.
Cons:
* No barrel nut wrench. You'll need a 1 3/16" crows foot. No torque specs for the bolts.
These handguards are a great value. Buy with confidence.
Really good

Nuff said. Great, simple, comfortable, strong, great machining, even locks to upper receiver to prevent misaligning. Great bang for the buck.
Solid for the money
by Will
I got this rail on sale and for less than $100 it feels solid. Lockup is nice and anti-rotation tabs. If you are worried about the aluminum barrel nut like I was, the STNGR V2 steel one fits this rail perfectly. Like $20 extra which makes this a great combo
Quality at a fair price.

This handguard is very well made, clean with a good finish. The mounting system is top notch and better in my opinion than some others that cost way more. Two things which could be improved though, no barrel nut wrench which is no biggie except you're not told that unless you read the reviews and most handguards do come with one. 1 3/16, Amazon, 9 bucks. Aldo if you want to install this correctly with proper torque you will need shims. Aero 8 pack used them all. Overall if read the reviews and planned ahead then a fantastic buy.
Budget hand guard

For the price a very good hand guard, i wanted to spend my money on other stuff for the AR,there are more out there that is better. I spent the extra money on a better bolt and trigger.
