The FN FNX-45 is a semiautomatic mechanically locked, short recoil operated pistol chambered in .45 ACP. The FNX-45 is modeled after the FNP-45 which was FN’s service pistol that was submitted to the U.S. Joint Combat Pistol Program in 2007. Featuring stainless-steel slide, polished hammer and feed ramps, and a stainless steel, cold hammer forged barrel, the FNX-45 can fire thousands of rounds and was built to last. This FN pistol is equipped with various ambidextrous controls such as the magazine release, safety/decocking lever, and a slide stop release lever. Interchangeable backstraps with lanyard eyelets are included to provide ergonomic customization to the user. This accommodates both left and right-handed shooters. The FNX-45 also has a MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail for attaching flashlight, lasers, or other various attachments.
