Nice brake, comes with a crush washer so you don't need to buy an extra.Reduces recoil, but damn is it loud! Oh well :)

Fortis RED Brake

This is a very well made brake. No tool or machining marks. The Black Nitride is well done, evenly coated. I purchased the black one for 2 reasons; first and foremost, I felt that the CMV Steel would hold up better than the 303 Stainless (had it been 416, I would've bought that) and I like the contrast on the black on my stainless barrel though I would have preferred if both were the same.Honestly I hope that it works as well as it looks. Why did I buy this unit over something else, 1) PA had it on sale so it fit my budget, I am building a 3-Gun Rifle and I prefer the 3 chamber brakes for their efficiency.2) I Like Fortis' products. They are just High Quality!3) I like Primary Arms; A LOT! They have been fantastic to do business with!4) Videos and recommendations of the RED Unit.My goal is to have the rifle completed by spring, budgeting for optics and a 15" FF HG. If I am able I will post an update at that time.

This definitely helps keep muzzle on target while looking great. Not much else to say except it does what its made for with a good price to match. Only thing needed is a shim or washer. Didn't come with it.
