The Forward Controls Design 6061 Short Dimpled M-LOK Rail Cover is machined from 6061 aluminum and features the AA surface dimpled pattern. The AA pattern was not developed for its aesthetics, but for its versatility in offering equal traction from all angles of approach. This makes it the perfect surface for handguard rail covers, where a user's hand can grip the handguard from multiple angles.

The AA pattern on the MCF is made up of two dimple sizes and depths, with a series of large perforations and drain holes along its length in the middle row of dimples. It is the short model, measuring 3.2" and covering 2 M-LOK slots. It even comes standard with M-LOK mounting hardware. With a width of 0.600" and thickness of 0.125", it weighs only .48 oz per panel and includes 416 stainless nuts.

This rail cover provides has a classic black finish. It requires a 3/32 Allen key for installation, which is not included, and has a torque value of 17 in/lb.
