For those that like to choose every tiny component in their rifle build, there is the Geissele Automatics Stainless Steel AR-15 Magazine Catch. Stronger and more durable than standard Mil-Spec components and features a corrosion resistant black finish.
Features:
Geissele Automatics manufactures confidence, offering quality triggers and components for the warfighter and competitor. They were established in 2004 with the mission to build the highest quality, reliable triggers for competition and their first trigger, the Hi-Speed National Match trigger, was so popular that they were asked by the Department of Defense to produce a select-fire trigger for the United States Special Operations. Again, it was a success and Geissele decided to bring a semi-automatic version to the civilian market for law enforcement and personal protection.
Features:
- Machined from stainless steel
- Corrosion resistant black finish
- Includes mag catch spring
- Installs like a Mil-Spec component

bought 3 for 3 different ARs. compared to milspec these fit better and reduce a good bit of slop that's present when mags are inserted while still allowing the mag to drop free. tolerances seem to be tighter than milspec and the spring seems stronger as well (cant confirm 100% on that). they fit my BAD extended mag releases also. kind of expensive for just a mag catch but its a geissele product so you get what you pay for.
