Radian Weapons Talon Ambidextrous Safety Selector 2-Lever Kit

I wasn't impressed with the milspec safety that came with my Rock River Arms lower. I wanted something that was ambidextrous, and easier to toggle. The Talon far exceeded my expectations. Firstly, the safety is extremely well packaged and easy to open. Radian includes all of the necessary parts such as the grip safety spring, safety detent, and of course the spring-loaded internals for the safety cylinder. They also include very comprehensible instructions that were easy to follow. After installing, I immediately enjoyed the much smoother operation, and easier toggle-ability (especially with gloves) compared to my old milspec safety. I always thought Radian products seemed pricey, but after this experience I will certainly be looking into more of their products in the future as they definitely seem to be worth the money.

Easy to install. Works as expected. Safety was a little gritty at first. I applied some lube and worked the safety for a little and gritty feeling went away. Would recommend to a friend!

I have this safety lever on all of my AR builds in the 45 degree configuration. Tactile clicks and butter smooth operation when engaging/disengaging with firing hand thumb and index finger. Highly recommended.

These work, but after getting the GI (which is regularly sold out) I wouldn't buy another one. I think the GIs are smoother and easier to use and instal. Nothing really wrong with the ambi's, just my preference that the GI's are better for me.

Easy installation if you have a mil spec trigger. I had to remove the grip as expected when changing safety selector. My rifle had a drop in trigger which extended the process for installation. I'd expect so more than 20 minutes for installation if you're familiar with the process of assembling an ar.

Installed it on my Aero M4E1 DTOM lower. I love the feel of the lever. It’s switches smoothly from Safe to Fire and vise vera . Will buy another!

Just wow. Innovative installation using a detent and spring system as opposed to the standard screw. The 45/90 throw option allows you to manipulate the controls best suited to your shooting style. I’ve changed all of my AR to the Talon, and all of my future builds will use Radian controls. If it works it works. Radian fan for life.

This is my go-to safety for all my builds. It performs smoothly and clicks in to position every time and looks awesome!

I've currently got seven of these safeties, and am buying two more since they're on sale! Absolutely hands-down the best AR safeties around. 45 or 90-degree throw depending on how you orient the shaft, and the spring loaded pin retention for the levers assures there's no way for them to work their way loose, unlike levers using screws and loctite to keep 'em on. The ability to reverse the off-side lever so it doesn't rub your trigger finger is a blessing too - out of the way but still usable for off-hand manipulation. The Talon Safety & Raptor charging handles from Radian are my go-to answers for every AR I build!

Don’t waste your hard earned money. This safety is gritty and obnoxious. It is very difficult to move with your thumb.
