The Radian Raptor SD Vented AR-15 Charging Handle adds vented gas relief to the Raptor's large, ambidextrous latches, directing excess gas away from the shooter's face — especially useful when running a suppressor. This version is finished in Mil-Spec black anodizing.

Worth the money

If you plan on running a suppressor on your rifle, this really does help reduce the amount of gas in your face. It won't completely eliminate it, but it does make a very noticeable difference and makes shooting suppressed much more enjoyable. Without the can on, it still functions as a high quality ambi-charging handle. Well worth the investment.
Seems to Work as Advertised

Expensive? Yes. However, this is really the only charging handle that, from my observation, seems to provide a difference in gas diffusion in the receiver when shooting suppressed. Build quality is typical Radian, which is always good to go.
