This 9mm striker fired semi-automatic pistol features a 17 round capacity, flat dark earth polymer frame, durable nDLC slide, fixed Glock standard sights, and a redisigned ergonomic Gen 5 frame, now without finger grooves.
The slide on the Glock 17 Gen5 has front serrations, which provide positive grip and control in harsh weather conditions. These front serrations also come in handy when you need to perform a quick chamber check, and when done correctly, the hand gets nowhere near the muzzle. Although the grip has no finger grooves on this particular model, Glock gives the shooter options by including interchangeable back straps.
The Glock Safe Action System consists of a blade safety lever in the trigger and a firing pin safety, which prevents the firing pin from moving forward. It also has a trigger bar, "drop safety," which engages the firing pin's rear portion to keep it from moving forward.

It's a Glock!

This Glock is a great gun,it's a Glock they always work for me. Trigger is a tad bit heavier than normal hopefully with live fire it will lighten up a little. There's one big negative thing I got to say about this gun though. The color advertised says fde but it does not match anything I have that's fde. Its dark brown I guess it's Glocks shade of fde? I have a Gerber strong arm knife that's coyote tan and the gun matches it pretty close. So don't buy this model expecting it to match your other fde equipment perfect.
