Externally, these locking turrets feature a high speed return to zero, ensuring that once your zero is set you won't have to worry about bumps or the environment making unintended changes to your turrets. The return to zero feature allows shooters to rapidly return to their elevation to 'Zero' after dialing out for long-range engagements without having to keep track of the adjustments you made to get out there in the first place. not sure where you left your elevation the last time you were at the range? Not only can you simply return your scope to your set Zero, the elevation turret features elevation rotation indicators to get you back on track at a glance.

The GLx is also home to one of a new feature. The smooth magnification ring hosts an innovative swappable adjustment fin. The fin can be easily positioned anywhere around the magnification ring to meet the needs of the shooter. Optional upgrades and alternatives are on the way as well, allowing users to customize their scope to meet their needs.

This 2.5-10x44mm GLx scope is equipped with the first focal plane ACSS Raptor M2 reticle. At low magnifications, the large  horseshoe draws the eye for incredible engagement speed at close quarters, comparable to a red dot. At 10x, the full features of the ACSS reticle become available, providing automatic ranging and bullet drop compensation to 800 yards, moving target leads, a precise center chevron aim point, and wind holds for both 5 and 10 mph cross winds. In low light, the illumination presents only the most important elements for rapid engagement.

Scope is a win

by

Got this for my fiance's AR that is setup in a DMR like manner.

First time out after I mounted and got it sighted in... She was giggling with every shot. So she approves.

Other than that, good glass, nice reticle. It makes for a fun time at the range. Really liking the feature set on it.

Excellent. You cannot be disappointed with this.

I had a nice long review written up and somehow "swiped" my page over and lost all my text. So this review will be quick.. I've had it for about 3-4 months. Awesome Scope. Turrets are the most impressive feature on this scope. They feel amazing and work great. Friends comment about them "Those turrets are the shit". The zero lock is perfect, easy to adjust and set. I've got this on a 556 but it would be great on a 308 as well. Illumination, clarity, reticle are great. This is my first Primary Arms scope and I think its great and priced just right. There are more expensive scopes out there with mushy turrets that don't line up perfectly or scope shadow at max power adjustment. Not this one. Clean scope, solid working scope.

DO IT

Great Glass, Love it

Shut Up & Take My Money;)

by

This is my second 2.5-10, as i bought one of the first models last summer and most recently this Raptor M2. I put it on a 14.5" set up as a mini spr, and its fast becoming one of my favorite scopes. The glass is edge to edge clear, the eye box/relief is generous, and turrets are very crisp with the zero stop coming in very handy. While the title is tongue and cheek the glass is easily would cost you well over 1000 dollars if bought from another company. Primary arms hits another home run with this one and is my fifth PA ACSS optic with ordering my 6th here shortly so the clearly must be doing something right for me to keep coming back when there are so many options on the market and i have and will continue to look to primary arms first for my optics needs.

Good Glass, Turrets, and Amazing Reticle. Perfect SPR Optic

by

I purchased a pre-order of the first GLx4 2.5-10 ACSS Griffin Mil Optics in the summer of 2019. I ordered this optic in the spring of 2020 due to how impressed i was with the initial optic. the only difference that i can tell(Besides the Reticle)is the the newer version has rubberized coating on the Zero Stop buttons to push then in when you need to unlock the dial to adjust you windage/elevation. I actually prefer this feature as it helps if your hands are wet or slippery. The Glass is excellent for the money and would likely cost you double to find a scope with comparable glass clarity. The only part that took some time was adjusting the zero stop once i had the optic zero'd. It was not hard by any means and there are excellent videos up on youtube on how to do it.

Great optic at a better price point

by

Experience is based on the first iteration before they made some asthetic changes. Build quality is great. Optic seems to be durable after it sailed through the air due to a 20mph gust of wind. Turrets track to within 1%. They're audible, tactile and the zero reset feature is really awesome and simple to set. Glass is really good but I do see some fish eye distortion in low light shooting unless I'm perfectly aligned behind the optic. Overall, it's a great optic.

Gets the job done

by

I got this optic for a specific rifle and due to the reticle design and was not disappointed. I spend most of my time behind bolt guns with TT or NF glass and while the glass in this optic is not that, nor would you expect it for the price it is outstanding to 10x and that is all that I need for a 16" 308. Eye box is really good, edge to edge is solid, illumination of the chevron works great if you need to use it at 2.5x.

I have taken this out to 800 and the wind dots work really well. You can teach a novice to smack targets in 5 minutes.

That said I would not run this in a PRS match but DMR style it is GTG all day long and I would buy this again.

Great product for the money.

you won't be disappointed

by

I put this scope on my brand new 6.5 creedmoor this hunting season. I was driving on our ranger and the gun flew off the seat and hit the ground pretty hard. next day I climbed in my stand and shot my first buck at 175 yards with perfect bullet placement. the view through this glass is the best I've seen. if you go this route you won't be disappointed

you won't regret it!

I have one on my 243 and I love it. I thought I would try a vortex raptor FFP and it was several hundred more dollars than this scope and was disappointed because it doesn't match up. I have sold it and am buying another raptor
