Buying a Suppressor
At Primary Arms
Purchasing a suppressor involves a few extra steps due to federal regulations, but we're here to help guide you through the process. Below is a breakdown of your options for shipping or picking up your suppressor, as well as the necessary steps to complete your ATF paperwork through Silencer Shop.
Reminder: Suppressors are regulated under the National Firearms Act (NFA), requiring ATF approval and special paperwork before ownership is transferred.
Shipping to an FFL/SOT Dealer
If you'd like us to ship your suppressor to a local FFL/SOT Dealer, please provide the dealer's name, shipping address, and phone number during checkout. When you complete your order, we will obtain an ATF Form 3 and transfer the suppressor to your preferred FFL. The approval timeframe can vary based on current ATF Wait times.
Primary Arms Pickup Center (Houston, TX only)

Important: NFA items have extended wait times—sometimes several months. Once your ATF transfer begins, your order is final and cannot be refunded.
Please verify all federal and local laws before purchasing. Suppressors are not legal in all states.
