Never had an issue with ar15 Hexmags and from my research no one has had anny issues with the 308 either. I have both Pmags and Hexmags.

Functions, but flimsy and could drop rounds

by -

I bought these and they are a GREAT color match to the FDE by Aero. These fed my M5, fit, locked in, and locked my bolt when empty. The plastic is a little flimsy, though. When I left it in the sun for a short period of time, the opening became soft and flexed outward when loaded with 10rds and the spring weight was on it. It then took a little pressure to load in the magazine well due to this expansion. I then removed it with a few rounds left and when I set it on the table, it ejected some rounds. I loaded them back and played with it, and it's just flimsy plastic at the top that flexes easily. So it's not the most secure for keeping the rounds in for anything beyond gently setting it on a table while waiting for the next relay. Maybe this is common, but I'd pay a little extra if they would give me some more-sturdy plastic that secure the rounds better.

less than I expected

I have other HEXMAGS, these would not drop out of the mag well when released. Tried several different lowers. Disappointed.

Great bang for the buck

These mags worked great in both my AR10 and Mossberg MVP.

The Mags and Customer Service are Awesome

by -

Have been wanting to try out the hexmags for awhile and finally caught them on sale. Had a small mix up On Whether or not my location had a restriction on HCMags. When it got straightened out. I had missed the Sale. I contacted CS and they straightened it out within 24hrs and let me have the sale price of the mags on sale and shipped them straight to me.
Mags are very well built. Springs are sturdy. a lil stiff. Have not had a misdeed or jam with them. Also like the texture for grip purposes. Especially during summer weather down here in the South!. Very good quality and will give pmags a run for the money.
I also like the 20 rnd mags for ground shooting w/bags.
You cannot go wrong with the HexMag or ordering from Primary Arms. Good Product and a Great Company with Greater customer service. Which in Today’s time means a lot to me. I’m willing to pay more to be treated like I matter and I’m important! Lifetime Customer here Primary Arms.
Thanks, Superdave !

Satisfied customer!

Does not drop free from M&P 10

by -

The reviews were good so I bought a couple of them. When I received them I found that they won’t drop free from my M&P 10 which disqualifies them from duty use for me. They seem to be well built and sturdy mags. If they work good as far as feeding, they will be used for range mags. Magpul mags work great in the M&P 10.

Hx sr25

Purchased 4 of these for my poly 80 build and am happy to say they fit and feed as expected. They seem every bit as stuffy as my pmags and the color coded followers are a nice way to keep loads identified without marking the mags. I will definitely be back for more!

Great Mags

Got 2 of these in 20 rounders. The work great in my Aero Precision 308.

Good to go for range or social purposes

by -

I have 3 LR308 rifles using generic DPMS lower receivers, billet uppers, and PA acquired GUNTEC BCGs. I have numerous Pmags for them but wanted more both for range and social purposes, if needed. I bought a couple of these HEXmags for T and E and am happy with them. Good positive lock up, drop free when the mag release is depressed. No issues feeding and bolt holds open on last round. I will do a few long term evals with full mags, put them in storage for a few months and see how they perform. Initial impression is positive. Will buy again.
