Holosun HM3X 3X Magnifier

love it work great with my HS510

Morons at Holosun have put perma loctite on the screws that you have to remove to add the riser spacer or to flip around for left handed shooters. Stripped both the supplied tool and one of my nice torx bits. Screws are like concrete. Called Halosun, this is a known issue from their Chinese factory. The offered for me to return it and have a replacement shipped out. It has been 14 days since they received the package and I still have not had a replacement magnifier shipped out. Customer service is good on the front end but as soon as you ask for a status your shut down. After two days of emailing them twice a day I finally got a response saying it could be another 5-7 days. I’m sorry it should not take that long to ship out a replacement. This has left a very bad taste in my mouth for them. I should have done more research. Every 5th review on Amazon is someone complaining about stripping the same screws.

Mounted behind HS403C. Enough rail space left for folding rear sight. Great clarity with good field of view. Lower 1/3rd spacer easy to install. Easy to center the dot. Dot remains crisp. Lefty shooter, so I flipped it around so it flips to the bolt release side instead of ejection port side. Did a couple drills, maybe 90 rounds - not much, but no issues. I own 3 Holosun products, all great.

A year ago I had never looked through a red-dot sight. I have been a scope sights guy for many years.
All that's out the window as I've gone red-dot crazy. This is my first magnifier and I have it mated with Holosun 510 on an 18" 223WYLDE upper. Be flying high hosing hawgs with it tilted over. Be sitting in the blinds with it on duty!

Holosun just showed me what the difference is between quality vs budget magnifier. Great QD mount fantastic glass quality material and workmanship.

This is the nicest quality magnifier you can get for a couple hundred bucks. Magnifiers 2X the price don't have any justification for the price point. Very nice frame, mount, and crystal clear glass.

Great magnifier and mount. Easy to adjust and excellent eye relief. While I can't compare to "high dollar" magnifiers, the glass looks very clear. I added it to my Holosun Paralow HS503G Red Dot Sight - ACSS CQB Reticle (which is the best optic for the money) I prefer the Holosun pairing better than the Sig Sauer Romeo setup.

I'm currently running this magnifier with my Aimpoint Pro. The magnifier is clear and functions without any issues.

Only been to the range with it a couple of times. So far it is awesome. Especially for the price. Really clear glass, easy to set up, adjustments are all easy and precise. The flip to side mechanism is just right, not too stiff and not too loose. Hopefully that doesn’t wear out and become looser over time, but I think the tension screw prevents that.
