Great value, not reliable

The laser was not reliable with the remote momentary setting ie the pressure pad. The laser worked fine when it was in the "on" position. Tried it with multiple pressure pads, still the same result. I may have just got a lemon but decided to go with another manufacturer. The beam is good when it is on, held zero just fine. As usual great customer service from PA who took it back with no issue.
Quite a deal at sale price

mounted on a CZ scorpion, & pvs-14's - night shoot on steel & paper works great. Not a fan of the cheap remote switch. Did a remove and re-install & it held accuracy. For real defensive use, use the unit on/off switch, or upgrade the plastic remote. 2x I had to unplug the remote to turn it off. >> Still at this price, very satisfied for an IR sight.
On par with civilian legal lasers

It does what you need it to. Paired with a Malkoff EX250IR head, it competes with much higher cost units. The emitter is centered over the bore so it will need a flat top rail, or to be side mounted if you run a pinned FSB.
