Hornady XTP 10mm bullets are designed for hunting, self-defense, and law enforcement use. The XTP bullet design features a traditional hollow point design with modern improvements like strategically placed weak points that provide controlled and consistent expansion even at low velocities. The swaged lead core is fully encased in the copper jacket even at the nose to ensure ultra-reliable performance in semi-automatic pistols. The jacket thickness increases at the rear to keep the bullet from fragmenting for maximum weight retention and when combined with the expansion, ensures optimal penetration depth without over-penetrating. For the reloaders, it features a cannelure that provides consistent and accurate crimping.
