The slip-resistant, ergonomic handle is made of Kraton G and has a 12GA commerical grade carbon steel butt cap. Texture on the handle makes it easy to grip and is meant to give you ultimate control over the knife. This model is based on the design that served the troops in WWII and continues to do the job more than 70 years later. It is tang stamped USMC and includes a brown leather sheath stamped with USMC to store and protect the knife when not in use.
