KNS Precision Non-Rotating Pins AR-15 .154" - Black

The 2 small holes in the 2 pivot pins are to trap oil, which keeps the hammer and trigger pivoting on the pins nice and smooth. During installation, put 2 small drops of your favorite lube. 1 on each side of the hammer and trigger (next to the springs), and the oil will find its way into the holes.

I really didn't want to use this. It's just extra weight and disassembly, etc.

Spike's (and maybe others) need some device to keep trigger pins from walking out.

Their hammer spring seems a touch wider than others. The ears not only go closer to both sidewalls, but the half circle cuts come up too high and prevent the hammer spring from dropping into the side notch on a trigger pin.

(I still haven't figured out the two holes in the middle of the trigger pin!)

Highly recommend for any person to use. Originally I had a Spikes lower parts kit. The pins would gradually slide to the right while shooting. I noticed that I could push them back in with just my fingers. This took the rotation and movement out of the trigger and hammer pin caused by firing. No issues so far. And easy to install.

These are excellent additions to an AR, especially if you a drop-in trigger. However, both receivers I put these in they have a small gap of a millimeter or so when tightened fully. Small washers will solve this

This is my second set of KNS pins. I highly recommend you use them when upgrading your trigger or just need a bit more security holding in the trigger pins. Great product delivered by the always great Primary Arms

These pins look great and work well. A nice inexpensive way for a cool custom look. Plus they do keep your trigger pins from rotating.

Not sure if they work yet or are really needed for a semi auto AR, but they sure look cool. Saw them on sale and jumped on 'em. PA shipping was super fast as always.
