The Gen 3 SBR is built to run full-size Glock® magazines, offering dependable feeding along with the option to go high-capacity when needed.
At the heart of the system is KRISS's Super V Recoil Mitigation technology—a delayed blowback design that uses a compact bolt carrier group linked to a low-mass slider. This slider moves along channels built into the frame, oriented perpendicular to the barrel. Rather than letting recoil energy push straight back, the system channels it downward, effectively counteracting the barrel's tendency to climb during firing.
Another defining feature is the Vector's exceptionally low bore axis—the lowest of any firearm currently made. Positioning the barrel beneath the fire control group, roughly level with the second knuckle of the shooting hand, gives the shooter added mechanical leverage against recoil. The result is greater control and faster, more accurate follow-up shots.
