The Lancer Systems magazine coupler holds two magazines together to keep a spare magazine on the ready. Both magazines are orientated cartridges up, base plates down, to ensure visual conformity without having to fumble and rotate the assembly 180 degrees. The Lancer mag Coupler is compatible with L5,L5A and L5AWM Translucent magazines. It was designed to seemlessly match the unique texture of the polymer body to align molded ribs ensuring proper magazine alignment. This cinch can also be utilized by USGI aluminum and steel magazines as well. These contours enables the shooter to quickly and easily assess proper loading was completed without anything obscuring view of the rounds inside the magazine. This cinch helps ensure the mags do not move or shift during usage enabling the shooter to focus elsewhere. Magaines not included.

Note: Developed for L5, L5A, and L5AWM Translucent Magazines, USGI Aluminum and steel magainges; but may fit other comparable models.

Works on Lancer/Magpul with minor flex

First, these work on both Lancer and Magpul mags. I did not test with GI mags, but the included product information said they would work for those too. These are a little tricky to install, and there is a correct orientation to everything which is not disclosed in instructions in the packaging nor on Lancer's website, so bad on them for that. You should have the larger of the two brackets on the backside of your mags, and each bracket should have the part number inprint facing right side up. Installing them incorrectly will result in a less-secure connection between your mags, though one that may work for a while. Last, you *could* use one coupler per pair of magazines, but I would recommend using both since there is a very noticeable bit of flex between the top of the mags which greatly diminishes with two couplers per pair.

Works Great for PMAG and the like

No problems, good deal. Works great for PMAG and the like. A little light for 30 rd metal mags loaded.
