The LANTAC Dragon offers improved recoil management and muzzle rise. Featuring a unique Short Energy Pulse system which reduces the length of recoil. This mitigates repeating shot energy preventing overlap that can knock the shooter off target. Ultra-Fast Attenuation of muzzle blast gasses aids in reducing side blast and muzzle flash. Even with fully automatic fire it offers massively reduced recoil and muzzle climb, so all shots can fall on target.

Good, but LOUD!!!

Fit and finish is superb, but if you run your gear like I do, the finish is not so nice after a day of REAL training. This muzzle device is pretty amazing, but LOUD AS F@#K if you are doing room clearing or shooting under a metal canopy.
Best brake I have ever used!

I will put this on every rifle I own from now on. It is loud, and I mean really loud. The blast is insane and the flash is pretty big at times. However, the point of it is to reduce recoil, and it REMOVES recoil. It works incredibly well, it just moves the rifle back, not up or to the sides. It is an attractive looking brake as well. I have had it on my rifle for probably a year or more now and I have really abused it to be honest. I even got it scorching hot and tossed it into the snow. Burned the finish slightly, it looks more gray than it did when I got it. But honestly it just looks great! I will never chose a different brake. Lantac makes excellent products without a doubt. Can't wait to see more options and designs that they make.

Have talked to the company and this is a Phosphate finish not a QPQ type finish. The compensator works fantastic however the finish will wear quickly.

great muzzle break for the price

it easily eliminates most of the recoil on my ar15. huge difference with the break my ar came with. great price on PA and if you can catch it on sale like i did it just makes it that much better. definitely recommended !!

The Dragon arrived today and I immediately took it to the range on my Ar-15. I am running stock parts from a PSA build kit and a 16'' upper with a carbine gas system. The difference was incredible between the Dragon and the A2 flash hider that is stock on most complete uppers. Recoil was reduced to nearly non-existent and felt like the gun was just vibrating slightly with each shot with a little horizontal movement more so from me than the recoil. From a blast perspective it was definitely a bit louder and more oppressive than the A2 but it did not interfere with follow up shots in any way, shape, or form. If you are looking for a muzzle brake this is the way.
