LBE Unlimited AR-15 300 Blackout Pistol Length Barrel - Nitride - 16"

LBE Unlimited 16-inch 300 Blackout Barrel is designed for use with a pistol-length gas system. This is even with the barrel being long enough to accommodate a carbine or even a mid-length system at 16 inches. The length has been chosen due to the 300 BLK ammunition the barrel is made to accept. A pistol length system is a smarter choice specifically in terms of this round, especially if using a subsonic round. The gas port is in a position closer to the lower receiver and allows more time for the gas to build up as the round travels down the bore. The heavy BLK subsonic round needs this in order to utilize as much gas as possible to cycle the firearm and to avoid under-gassing.

This LBE barrel is 16 inches in length providing the user with a variety of shooting options for the rate of travel of the projectile’s flight. This barrel has the clean bore rifling that is a staple with this brand, providing a clean, accurate flight trajectory with its 1:8 twist rate.  The 16-inch barrel enables the bullet to travel further than other BLK compatible mods and the drop rate is slightly less when using this length over BLK compatible AR barrels.
