Leupold Mark 4 35mm High Scope Rings - Aluminum -Matte

Mounting a scope correctly is one of the most important parts of a precision rifle setup. Leupold makes it easy with their series of mounts and rings. This particular set of scope rings is compatible with the Picatinny Rail sections that you’ll find on the tops of most rifles these days and tightens down with a simple thumb screw that can be taken on and off with ease. This model is meant for 35mm scope tubes and is held in with four screws per ring. Generally, it’s good practice to tighten the screws in a criss-cross pattern, meaning that you’ll tighten on one side, then switch sides to tighten one, and then repeat the process. This makes the tension on the scope even, and, if you give everything one final twist to make sure that they’re tight, these scope mounts will retain zero even if they take a slight knock.
