The STD 2-piece is suitable for both left and right hand actions and are manufactured to withstand heavy use and adjustment. The Leupold 2-Piece Standard Base for Winchester 60/670/770/70A has a windage ring on the rear base that allows for sighting correction in left and right increments as needed. They are secured by Nylok windage adjustment screws for achieving the perfect boresight windage. Shims can also be used to adjust gross elevation as needed, as it reserves the scope’s elevation adjustment for drop compensation. Leupold has designed this base set with every shot, shooter, and on-the-fly elevation in mind.
