Comfortable

Ergonomic, great grip angle, my favorite on a DMR.
Great grip that interferes with pretty much everything
by Chris
I bought this to attach to a PWS upper, but it won't even slip onto the lower front Picatinny rail due to the beefy front section interfering with the adjacent handguard sections. It's not just other accessories that get in the way—if you have built-in Picatinny on your handguard you might also have problems putting this grip by itself. On the other hand, if you're using a Picatinny to M-Lok or KeyMod strip, that will probably give you enough clearance. I ended up putting this on another build that didn't have a built-in Picatinny rail and it fits great, even over adjacent BCM M-Lok rail cover strips. The feel of this grip is excellent—love the large size. However, if you're planning to use integrated rails to mount it or you have bulky adjacent accessories, I'd recommend looking into the narrower AFG-2.

Great Angled Foregrip
by Johnny -
I am more comfortable with the verticle grips from BCM, but I already have three on each of my AR15’s. So, I decided to give this Magpul AFG-1 a try and I was pleasantly surprised with the natural feel of an angled grip. The next generation version is more streamlined as to not have that extra beefiness to the front. I chose the the AFG earlier model because of the beefy front section because of my larger hands and they give me a firm c-clamp grip to negate muzzle rise. I actually attached this one on my AR15 Keymod floating rail. I purchased picatinny rail attachments for keymod on Amazon. And this AFG slid right over it with no problem for a snug fit. Just a note: when attaching accessories to your AR15 it is good practice to ALWAYS use Blue Loctite to secure it on so they wont come lose later on in bad situations. Thanks Primary Arms.

Excellent like PA customer service.
my favorite foregrip
by Garrett Duncan
Very comfortable. I prefer the afg to the afg2 (personal preference). Started out with a vg, tried this and never looked back. However this grip isn't for everybody. I highly recommend handling one before purchasing.
Great product

This thing is great! A little bit larger than the AFG2. I feel like the larger size fits my hand and is a little bit more comfortable.

Magpul AFG (Angled Fore-Grip) - FDE
by Tim Smith
Magpul's AFG is what it is. You either like them or you don't. I bought this one for the purpose of modifying it, so it was experimental. On a personal note, I believe that all these molded plastic accessories are grossly overpriced, regardless of manufacture.
