The Magpul CTR Carbine Stock is a compact drop-in stock that is compatible with AR-15/M16 MIL-SPEC receiver extensions. The CTR AR-15 Carbine stock is designed to provide a stable, lightweight point of contact during rapid handling and close-quarters use. A streamlined A-frame profile reduces snag risk and shields the release latch, while a supplemental friction lock helps limit movement and maintains shooting stability. This lightweight AR-15 stock includes a 0.30" rubber butt-pad for secure shoulder contact and offers ambidextrous functionality with a push-button QD sling mount and 1.25" sling loops. The flat dark earth polymer stock features a sloped cheek weld for stability and side slots for utilizing optional risers or accessories. Made in the USA.

I won't bother reviewing the Magpul CTR. If you know what it is, you already know whether you want it or not. I will say that I purchased quite a few things on Black Friday from a number of vendors. Primary Arms had my order to me before anyone else, and that includes other "first tier" vendors. Once again, Primary Arms delivers.
Best choice in light weight stocks.

I love the CTR so I bought one for my wife's build. Then, it was so envied by son#2 that it became a Christmas gift for him and I quickly bought another for the wife. My build sports an ACS and I love that too but it is both bigger and weighs more. Yes, the ACS has a slightly better cheek weld. Slightly. Great stock.

I have taking a MOE and having the stock jiggle on the tube, U want solid lock up and that is what the second lock of the CTR does, Great ergos, and well built. I have beensatisfied that I have the CTR on my other 3 AR's.

I have several of these stocks and all have worked perfectly for my needs, including on heavier recoiling ARs such as the .458 SOCOM and .475 TREMOR. The CTR takes the abuse in stride.

I assembled a relatively light weight build and was worried about the 4 or so ounces it adds over the BCM standard stock. I should not have been! it provides good balance to the weapon.
