Not a durable hand stop

Okay, but not made for heavy/ constant usage
Bought about 6 months ago and took it out one time to the range. Was initially happy with the product but the front section has since tore through the screw hole. Not really an item that can pulled off and put back on more than once. Best to probably make sure it’s exactly where you want it distance wise on the rail before tightening down. I think if the screw hole in the front hand stop section was a little more reinforced it would be a good product.

I received the item on time couple of weeks ago, thank you, PA. However, not all pieces were included in the packet, nuts were missing; hence, the three stars. Magpul should have executed a better quality control, and made sure all parts were packed. Obviously, I wouldn’t be able to install it until I buy some nuts…oops.

Fits perfect on my SLR rifleworks MLOK ak handguard. Locks in Solid and keeps my hand in place while firing the rifle.

I’ve had vertical grips before but not a hand stop, so this was a first. Only thing that really isn’t much is the grip size. If you install with both hooks it keeps your hand from moving back and forth, but in ways it’s tight. Would almost recommend making them in different lengths for different hand sizes especially with gloves.

Only issue you may run into is screws hitting your gas block possibly. But that can usually be helped by moving a half a slot over. I love the design. I love that they include the additional hardware and screw lengths for aluminum or polymer hand guards.
