M-LOK Type 2 Rail Covers are two-piece covers that install directly onto most M-LOK aluminum handguards. These M-LOK Covers are non-orientation specific allowing them to mount in any direction without affecting function. Featuring beveled contours to minimize snagging, trapezoidal surface projection texture for additional grip, and pre-scored center locking tabs, to mix and match colors for a customized look. Each low-profile panel protrudes ~1/8" from the mounting surface and covers one M-LOK slot.

Nice grip surface.

Great product. Lightweight and not bulky at all. This mod adds a great grip surface compared to the aluminum hand guard.

Love them. Add SOME bulk, but NOT much. Good texture and good price.
Perfect For Some Extra Grip Texture On The Rail

Great for adding a little texture to the sides of your M-Lok rails. I shoot at an indoor range and it gets sticky sweaty hot in there. These help me keep my hands on the rail without needing to put on gloves or constantly dry my hands on my shirt. I have a set of the black and the fde and I mix them for a nice checker board pattern on my ARs.

This was my first experience using the M-Lok system (my other stuff is keymod). Simple, easily installed and effective. I used these rail covers on a PSA upper and everything fit perfectly. Snap in the larger section first then the narrow section. That's it. Each section covers one M-Lok hole (I used six on each side of the rail). The finish of the rail cover sections was a little "prickly" for my tastes so I took a steel wrench and smoothed them down a little. If you need to remove a section just pry up a corner of the narrow section and it will pop out. When assembled it's a very solid rail cover. I see why SOCOM chose M-Lok for their rail systems now.
