Perfect Fit

by

I requested,in an email, for a mag coupler to attach my PMAG 300 Blackout Magazines. Received a recommendation w/in 3 days. This product was easy to set up w/a perfect fit. Snug & secure hold too. Absolutely no issues. Holds like a vise while throwing lead downrange like I’m some kind of smooth operator. LOL!!

They work great and easy to install. Will buy again.

Great way to have 80 rounds on deck

by

I couple two 40 round mags, I’m not sure why but I did have to go and get a little longer machine screws but hey it’s not a difficult task. Only happened with one coupler.

For your rifle that goes with and sleeps by you, two is better than one.

I keep my 12.5 rifle by my night stand and in my pickup so having two mags in it always is nice. Didn’t work with HRF magwell so popped it off. Wouldn’t ever see using it other than that, not something I would want on a long moment and the additional mag can quickly fatigue you when rifle is up. But it’s solid and install is simple. Running gen 2 pmags and gen3. Would be neat if they could make it accept other mags. Worth a purchase.

Easy to install. They stay out. They work.

How i carry 80 rounds

by

Very nice to have a coupler that you can rely on. The grooves on the mags fit within the coupler slots and lock in place in a way by using its pattern. They can be offset as well and I like to be able to reach for 80 rounds and it is ridged and durable and also not a bulky drum. Got these for 5.56x45 as well as 7.62x39 they offer as well.

Does what it’s supposed to do

Works Great!

Works wonderfully (only) with a standard Magpul 30-round 5.56/.223 magazine. However, be aware that it only fits a Gen 2 mag, not a Gen 3. I didn’t realize that before purchase but was already planning to put it on a Gen 2 mag anyway.

Curious result

by -

I used these to couple together some 300 blk mags and they worked great, very firm connection. The only trouble I came across was the 2nd magazine would shed a round from the magazine under recoil after about 8 or 12 shots. Not a deal breaker exactly but it's not good to be losing ammo. The magazines are only a few months old.

Thanks for your comment/review. Glad to hear you're satisfied with the quality and function. A suggestion to avoid the problem you encountered would be to keep the magazine dust cover in place until just before switching to the full magazine. Keeping the dust cover snapped on should prevent the inadvertent loss of ammo.

Magpul to the rescue

I use this at work and it's held up great so far. Used during a couple trainings and it hasn't given me any issues. I mainly bought it to have 2 mags in my duty rifle in case I need to grab and go and it is perfect for that.
