The MAGPUL MIAD (Mission Adaptable) GEN 1.1 is a drop-in pistol grip for AR-15 that provides shooters with customizable ergonomics, with interchangeable front and rear straps. Shooters can freely configure this ergonomic pistol grip to fit their hand, or optimize it for different shooting scenarios. Constructed from impact-resistant polymer, this pistol grip includes three backstraps and two front straps, and is compatible with Magpul Storage Cores for increased user adjustability. A 1/2 oz lubrication bottle carrier core is included.
NOTE: The TYPE 1 Kit will fit most 7.62x51 AR lower receivers but there may be a gap between the beavertail and the receiver. If present, this gap is purely aesthetic and will not affect function.
The TYPE 2 Kit uses taller backstraps for optimized fit with certain 7.62x51 receivers such as the Armalite AR-10A/B/T, DPMS LR308, KAC SR25, LaRue OBR, LMT .308 MWS, Palmetto PA10, and S&W M&P10.

Amazing, but one issue.

The screw is a nightmare. It was way too tight and I felt like I was stripping the threads on my lower. Aluminum threading is not ideal, so I was very careful and eventually got it. You really need to get some of the thread lock off it.
But the overall feel is amazing, and I love not having a gimmicky back strap that makes my lower look weird. I thought I loved the feel of the BCM grip until I got this.

This is hands down my favorite grip. Compared to the MOE, the MIAD is thinner, which works for my large hands. Add in the interchangeable back straps and the removable finger groove, the MIAD offers a little something for everybody. The inserts, which work for both the MOE and MIAD, are an added bonus. Spend the extra few bucks and grab the MIAD.

Since I discovered this grip, it is the one I use on all my ARs. I really like the way it fits and feels in my hand. With the customized front and back straps, the way it "sticks" to my palm and the fact that it's a Magpul product, says it all. Plus, it has the internal storage for an oil bottle, earplugs, or an extra round or two.

Excellent grip. The integrated bottle to fill with your choice of oil was a great idea. I've been told you can also get replacement floor plates that hold a spare bolt instead of an oil bottle.

I replaced the pistol grip that came with my DPMS AR-15 with the Magpul MIAD Grip and what a difference it made it is more sturdy and was very easy to install it came with a little bottle to put oil in and it was in the cover thats under the pistol grip. What can I say about Primary Arms those guy's are super great and I highly recommend them also their shipping is outstanding I placed my order on Tuesday and had my part's on Friday here in Virginia you can't beat that. I plan to order from them again.

I have a somewhat deep palm well and this grip fits my hand nicely with the largest back strap.

Totally customizeable with different back straps and finger grooves, plus a compartment with an oil bottle. Fits my CMMG .308 lower perfectly!
