Magpul QD sling swivel

Great for new AR pistols. Fits Wilderness Tactical sling really good with no fold over.
Quick attach and detach - but different
by John Howson
I have both the regular QD swivel with the release in the center but, using one in a class I had a hard time being able to quickly and reliably disconnect it. Pushing the button in and pulling the swivel out isn't natural. The QDM swivel, though more expensive, is far quicker and more natural. The disconnect is pull to remove and push to insert, ya just have to grab it right. I put the QDM on the sling end that moves frequently from the two-point QD socket on the handguard to the MS1-MS4 adapter. The MS1-MS4 adapter attaches to the an ASAP-QD fitting via the standard QD swivel. One really only needs one QDM.
Great Product

I saw these swivels and had to have them. My thought was the design would allow for better rotation on my Magpul ACS stock. They work great and I now have full rotation on the butt stock. The oval QD sling swivel would hit the battery tube and not allow full rotation. They are more easy to disconnect as well. I can actually connect and disconnect them with gloves on. I have not abused them yet, so I can't comment on the strength but they seem as durable as the oval ones I had on. I'm very happy with them.
Not the greatest
by Michael B.
I'm a big Magpul fan, but this product leaves something to be desired. Sounds good on paper, but in application if you are going to attach one to an end plate you are going to find it difficult to get your fingers on the release tabs. There is very little room. I found myself using one on the forearm rail, but a more traditional push button release on the end plate.
very secure swivel
by Nicholas Godwin
Like the title says, very secure swivel, that's good and bad. It won't come off accidentally, but if you need it to come off, it takes some very deliberate action that could consume vital seconds in an emergency.
An improvement on the QD sling swivel
by LewP
Magpul has redesigned the classic QD sling swivel to make it less likely to be accidentally released. To release the QD swivel you must actually grasp the outside circumference of the swivel to release it. This is in contrast to the normal QD push button which can be released by applying pressure to the button.

PA.com was quick and easy. They have a great inventory, and was the only place that had what I was looking for, and I had been looking for a long time. I'm glad I found this website. Thanks PA.com

The Magpul QDM is a great product to have on your AR. It lets me disconnect my sling from the AR as quickly as I attach it on.
