Details

The RSA QD picatinny rail sling mount provides a forward attachment point for push-button QD slings. Made from corrosion resistant steel, the RSA QD mounts to 1913 Picatinny rails, and places the attachment point at an angle optimized for comfortable two-point sling use while maintaining easy push-button access. Designed for use on the AR-15 and AR-10 platforms, this sling attachment can be placed on your preffered location on your handguard rail so you can further customize how you carry and sling your rifle.

I got this to replace a Troy QD sling mount, as that device ended up seeming a little weak to me. This sling adapter is much easier to mount in comparison, so it is easier to change its location to best suit your needs, and it just seems stronger. In practice, it has worked out well in the field combined with an adjustable Magpul MS1 padded 2-point sling.

Very small, seems very sturdy

I put this mount on an SBR to replace a VTAC top-rail QD mount that I moved to another gun. I like the angled mount a lot, in fact I may replace the VTAC with another one of these.
