I put this mount on an SBR to replace a VTAC top-rail QD mount that I moved to another gun. I like the angled mount a lot, in fact I may replace the VTAC with another one of these.

Easy way to add a QD socket

Works well with any AR that has a 1913 top rail of some sort. Mounting the QD socket on the 1913 rail moves the sling up and out of the way of the body of the handguard.
