Midwest Industries Combat Rail M-LOK AR-15 Handguard Black - 14"

Installed very easily on my AR build and look great. (14.5” Barrel with Low profile GaS block) Can’t wait time get it on the range and see how tough it is.

The quality of the machining and finish are impeccable. I like the tapered front edge of this model; it looks great on my rifle. I have an Aero Precision rifle and I love Aero parts, but I like this handguard even better, so that's what's on it.

Another feature I like about this (and other Midwest handguards) is the "dimples" on the edges. It makes the grip comfortable and frankly, it looks cool. In addition, I prefer the round lightening holes under the rail better than slots on other brands of rails.

I have over the years used many different brands of AR parts. I turn to Midwest Industries when I want the best. I know this sounds like a factory person wrote it since I'm gushing a bit, but I'm just a competitive shooter. I have not brand loyalty that hasn't come from a lot of experience.

This is much nicer to hold on to vs. the stock plastic front handguard. Very happy with the product.

They’re not Gucci. I, for one, think that MI will soon be that brand you wish you were buying before they became super popular and expensive. I have installed these on several rifles. The finish is great. They’ve align perfectly with Anderson and Spike’s Tactical mil-spec upper receivers.

They are very slim and feel great. Note that the MLOK channel that is underneath your gas block will mostly be unusable. That’s the only drawback. I installed magpul hand stops and had to sand down the middle piece to get them to sit flush. Not a big deal, but it’s something you might encounter but might avoid with a different gas block. I was using an aero precision with a .750 journal and a govt barrel. I encountered this on both the 14” and 15” hand guards when installed on 14.5” and 16” barrels respectively.

All things considered, for what you pay, these are really great.

The is my "go to" for my duty ready slim line series. Easy install- no timing, and yet very secure. Two less built in QD locations than the G4M series (which is another great option). I prefer the slant cut on the front lower part of the rail. Look great- and the newer models look even better. They have darkened the coating to deep black (vs the older models we're not as black).

I got this on sale and glad I did. It is a perfect fit for my Faxon 14.5" Wylde, light, free float and PLENTY of options to put junk on or leave it nice and sleek. The two QD sockets are a perfect touch also. Just a perfect handguard for light, rugged and sleek builds.

Definitely buy this rail again. Kudos for PA for very fast shipping and good prices.

Easy install. Solid lock up. Absolutely no movement. Smooth edges. Will purchase again from them.

I liked the first one so much I purchased a second. The barrel nut system is great, there are NO hit or miss indexing shims like other rails. Follow the instructions and torque to spec and you’re done. Kudos to PA for all around great service and wide selection of products
