The Midwest Industries Combat Rail Handguard is a free float M-LOK upgrade for the AR-15, built from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in black Type 3 hard coat anodizing for a durable, made-in-America handguard.

Installation is straightforward: torque the included 4140 steel barrel nut, then slide the handguard over it and lock it down — no timing required. Indexing tabs key the handguard against the receiver to keep it from rotating under recoil, and the seven-sided M-LOK layout leaves room to mount lights, grips, and other accessories without adding the weight of a full-length Picatinny quad rail.
Every unit ships fully dehorned and deburred for a comfortable grip, and includes the barrel nut, wrench, and a 5-slot polymer M-LOK rail section for any spot that still needs a short Picatinny run.

Awesome handguard AAA+++

This is one of my favorites. Primary had great deal. Was excited with new build.was mating to sharps billet upper.a no go ! The anti tabs keep it from working so going to have buy a non billet upper for fitment. It's nice great anodized color strong sturdy comes with barrel nut wrench ,mlok rail, hardware. Excellent handguard

Well, I purchased an AR-15 7.62x39 as a complete rifle. The handguard was horrible and actually detached during fire training. In addition it was always a little off-center, which didn't effect optics as they were mounted on the receiver, but I hated it. So I did a bunch of research ordered this and another name brand, because sometimes you just don't know until you have it in your hand. The MI handguard is so mean, the barrel nut is smart and low profile. In addition, the mechanism to keep the handguard attached to the nut works flawlessly. We ran the rifle hard for about 150 rounds of live fire training. Perfectly centered, even when using a front facing sling mount and bi-pod. Torqued to spec, I used "blue" lock-Tite on handguard screws. All I can say is haven't seen a free float handguard hold up and keep perfect with the abuse I put it through. Will use on future builds. Low profile adjustable gas blocks will fit under it too. If I could give it more stars I would.

Fit and finish are perfect. The rail itself fits great in the hand and has no rough or sharp edges. Appreciate that this comes with the barrel nut and installation tool. These go on great sales too, picked mine up for $50 off. On par with BCM or Aero in my opinion.

Replaced a 7 inch free float quad rail with this 15 inch rail. The difference in feel and balance is awesome. Bought it at a great price when it was on sale. Midwest Industries makes a quality product, fit and finish was perfect. Highly recommend. Always happy with purchases from Primarm Arms.
Feels Good in the Hand

Ordered on a Wednesday, arrived on Friday with standard shipping! PA had this out the door an hour after I purchased! The rail itself is fantastic. Nice and slim, MLOK all the way around, no missing parts, and the deburring is definitely noticeable next to some more budgety rails I have. Generally feels smooth everywhere you grip at. Came with installation tool, the actual barrel nut, and a 5 slot pic rail. Will likely buy again at different lengths for other builds.

Excellent quality. Came with the barrel nut wrench. It does come with a 5 slot polymer MLOK bolt on rail section. Lines up very well with my upper and is solid as a rock.
