Nightstick proprietary lithium-ion battery is rechargeable and is designed to function with their Tactical flashlights like the model TAC-400, TAC-500, and TAC-550. Nightstick chose lithium for this replacement or spare, to always charge in a way that will optimize the life of the battery. Battery memory effect can negatively affect some batteries, meaning that if you charge it too much or too little it will cease to operate normally, but that is not the case with Nightstick’s rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
