The Precision Defense™ 5.56 M16 Complete Bolt Carrier Group is machined from high-quality materials to ensure your AR-15 will run reliably as long as you have ammo to shoot it with. The carrier body is machined from 8620 steel and finished in black Nitride for its slick and durable qualities making it run extremely smooth in your receiver. It features an M16 cut allowing it to be full auto rated and the extra weight helps to reduce bolt bounce. The bolt is machined from 9310 steel, while the extractor is made from S7 tool steel to withstand thousands of rounds. The gas key is machined from a stock of billet steel with properly staked screws. The Precision Defense 5.56 Bolt Carrier Group is an affordable and reliable option for building an AR whether it is your first or tenth.

The one I received was flawless. Smoothest bcg I have and good, deep forward assist cuts. Couldn't be happier, especially for getting it on sale.

I had not one but TWO out of spec carriers. First one they said they would trade in for me with no issue when I went to trade in for a new one the second one was actually worst, and it had rust. Absolutely while they did take care of my issue by just getting a whole other BCG I definitely wasted time even trying to get this one to work

Recieved a call, from Primary Arms QC. spoke in lenght. My concerns and issues were listened to. Primary Arms, AGAIN PROVES why they are dang great at Customer Service. They re-embursed me for the Fireing pin retaining pin issue. Who gets a call out of the blue on a monday morning asking about my review?? Who does that?? Primary Arms does !..they stand by what they sell and want things to be right. I will always conntinue to shop with PA. It just makes sense when someone backs up what they sell. the 5 starrs goes to PA. Any question, they will listen and help. Semper Fi thanx for being there and calling me!

Terrible QC! BROKEN PIN IN BOX

purchased due to a big discount sale. arrived with a bent firing PIn retaining pin. Had to order a new set of 5, frm Brownelles. very disapointed. The firing pin retaining pin was bent and out of standards. could not be re-inserted. i served in military for 20 yrs, i have enough understanding on what to expect with a firing pin retaining pin. extremly dissapointed. buyer beware, have extra. after reading several online reviews. i was not the only one! NO-GO! do not EXPECT TO OPERATE OUT OF BOX!

Out of spec

This bolt appears to be out of spec on the bolt itself where it interfaces with the chamber. It is very difficult to get it to seat and has to be slammed hard to do so. It also causes an excessive amount of force required to charge the weapon. I do not trust it and will not be using it. I have many bolts and ar15s and none have had this kind of fitment issue. I tried another bolt to make sure it wasn't the new upper and the other bolt is smooth as normal when interfacing with the barrel/chamber etc.

Got the Email & couldn't pass up because of the cost. Always great to have a spare around & the fact it's a M16 profile makes it even better. Finish was excellent, looks just like my bolt in the service.

Couldn’t even get through a full 30 rounds with this BCG without problems, It punches the primer but not enough. Tried 5 different ammunition types and still had problems. Took it out of the box straight into my gun and had issues.
