Excellent Micro Dot Riser
by David Keith
A great little riser that does the job. Don't know why you'd need to spend more on a more expensive one.
Good value for the money.
Bought this to run the PA microdot up front on the gas tube rail on my AK. With an AR stock I was having trouble getting my face down low enough to use the iron sights, and this was confounded by wearing a baseball style hat. This brought the sight up to an easy height for my long neck to handle while still allowing me to see though underneath it for the irons if I need to. Not the epitome of quality and features but that wasn't what I was paying for.

These guys rock!!!!!

Had a faulty red dot (MD-ADS), emailed CS, BOOM! they jumped on it, sent out a new sight and riser almost IMMEDIATELY, and shipping label for return. What else can I say??? Could have only been better if their office was next door to me and maybe not even then!!!! Despite the issue with the sight, it's still the best damn micro dot for the money. I just cannot see paying the same price for an optic as I did for the rifle. I knew I still couldn't go wrong getting a new optic. I appreciate you guys, truly. Thank you
I am very pleased with the micro dot it is exactly what I expected and wanted. Great job PA!
Perfect for absolute cowitness.

I have a Primary Arms MD-06L clone which is basically a Primary Arms MD-06, but with the brightness knob on the left hand side. This facilitated the need to mount this riser turned 180 on the weapon, so the tightening screw on the bolt release side, and the clamp on the ejection port side. This is not a big deal to me, just my experience. This mount requires the heads of the four small screws that attach the red dot to the mount, be of the square shouldered type, to match the tightening/mating surface of this riser. The original screws on my MD-06L clone's quick disconnect required flathead/countersunk screws with an angled mating/tightening surface. An email to Primary Arms was rapidly replied to, and a proper set of screws was mailed to me at no charge. One may want to check what screw head design they have on their old mount, before ordering, to assure the quickest possible installation. Thanks you, Primary Arms, for the best customer service in the business!
Top Notch Company

I have purchased quite a few products from PA. The PAPS 1-6xis rock solid. It is the envy of many of my shooting crew. But I would like to comment on their customer service. I was pleasantly and extremely surprised as to the response I received when I discovered a shipping issue. Not only were they prompt to respond, but they were very quick to rectify the issue. Props for David Rodriguez.

Great Customer Service

I've used PA for years and have always been happy with their products and customer service. This product did not meet their usual high standards though.Using the supplied torx key, I attached the riser to the PA advanced RDS, and put it on my rifle with some blue loctite. I made sure it was snug but did not crank on it. When I took the rifle out of my hard case at the range, the optic flopped off the rail due to a broken crossbolt. I don't expect Aimpoint quality at this price point but was disappointed considering it has the PA logo on it. I contacted Mike at PA and he immediately apologized and sent me a whole new mount (and some swag) via 2-day mail. I'll be selling the brand new mount on the forums and putting that money towards a sturdier mount like the American Defense, Bobro or LaRue Tactical. Bottom Line: 5 Stars for PA Customer Service, 2 stars for this particular product.
