Good for the money
by John
I picked this up on sale for $90 to try on my M&P 10mm. It was easy to zero and worked well. I've only had one range trip with it so far but for the money I'm impressed.
A great optic, except - auto-off is Bad Idea(tm) for duty/self defense gun.

Gets 4 stars because it is a great optic at a great price point. Glass is nice and clear, controls are easy to use, lightweight, says PA on the side, etc. This optic would have been 5+ stars and a Holosun-407/507 killer and I would have bought 5 of them....except it has the auto-off "feature" that cannot be disabled and no shake-awake. Why, why, why? Having to manually turn it on after it's been off for a while is a 100% deal-breaker for use on any gun that isn't in the 'just for fun' or 'just for hunting' class.
All that said, this is my new go-to on just for fun or just for hunting guns. I just wish it could have been my go-to for all-the-things.
Terrible
by Trevor -
This might actually be the worst optic I have ever bought. Lost zero after 50 rounds on my Glock 19 (did not adjust elevation or windage). Very disappointed with it after watching many positive reviews. I would personally steer clear from this optic.

All you could want at this price point.

I built a Glock clone that I didn't want to put a bunch of money into. I chose this red dot because Primary Arms has a good reputation in sights and the price was super cheap. I am giving four stars because I wish the window was bigger and I wish it had shake awake but I knew what it was when I bought it. Easy install, RMR cut, good light adjustment. Exactly what I wanted. I recommend this red dot for anyone wanting a quality sight on a budget. It is the real deal, not "airsoft".
Primary Arms Classic Series 24mm Mini Reflex Sight 3moa dot
by Neil -
My biggest issue with the sight is brightness. Compared to a Trijicon RMR (battery) and the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, it is lacking. It is daylight visible, but not daytime bright (even with a new battery). I would like more brightness over battery life. It is almost there, but not quite.
Great Choice for the Price!

I was looking for a replacement for my aging red dot on my Buckmark 22 and the Primary Arms Classic Mini fit the bill. I only have about 300 rounds thru it, but it has performed well and held zero. It was a bit difficult to precisely zero it, since there are no audible clicks, but once I got the hang of it, it was ok. Dot is plenty bright for indoor or outdoor, and does bloom a bit, but I also have astigmatism. Window is much less obtrusive than a traditional red dot and the sight fits well on the rail. Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase and may pick up the micro version for another pistol.
Not bad for the money
by Bill -
For the price it’s pretty good. The adjustment screw is a small Allen, which seems prone to stripping. Adjustments don’t click so you have to guess how much you’re actually moving the dot to sight it in. Great for a plinker but not for anything that will see serious use.
Punches above its price point.

This the only budget pistol sight under $200 that’s worthwhile. I wouldn’t bother with any other brand around the same price. The glass is impeccable. It’s better glass than my 507, and almost on par with my ACRO P2. No major bluing or tint, and very little distortion. There is no noticeable emitter refresh rate issues either. I can’t speak to reliability under adverse conditions, but it has worked well under range and EDC conditions. I have mounted it to a P320 and a Shadow Systems, with about 750 rounds combined in two months, and I have had no major issues. I would absolutely recommend this for competition or EDC use.
Best bang for your buck!

You can’t find a better pistol red dot for less money. This has an RMR footprint, which works amazing with most of my guns. The glass is clear, with minimal tint and distortion. There is less distortion on this than a 507c. Only my $600 ACRO has better glass. After 3 months and 700 rounds, I have no major problems so far.
Very Basic very simple
by Matt -
The dot is very simple without some of the features you might expect from modern dots. The description does give you a heads up that the dot will shut off after 12 hours AND you have to manually turn it on. What it doesn’t say is that the brightness cannot be locked. I like how fast it is to turn on though. Just a simple quick push of one of the buttons it is on. And it takes a considerable long time to to shut off by holding both buttons down; unlikely to accidentally shut off. After about 130 rounds on an M&P 10mm its still holding zero. For the price with a metal construction it’s hard to beat. But probably best for a range gun since there are no locks on the brightness
