Rock Solid Magazine!
by Jared Lombardo
I purchased this before work on Monday and received it by Thursday! This thing is ROCK SOLID. I swear you could probably take a hammer to it and it would crack! It loads really easily and isn't too heavy; it's very well balanced! I may have to order another!
Excellent product

Awesome drum mag. It's verything we've come to expect from Magpul quality products. Primary Arms provided the best price and fast shipping.
Quality And Reliabilty

Have 2 of the 60 Round Magpul drum mags. They function perfectly and are indicative of the quality I have come to expect from Magpul. Took a few tries to get my rhythm using the lever but now I find them easy to load. Have 2 different brands of AR's and they both work well with this mag. No bolt hold open or FTF or FTE issues. Packing shipping and service from Primary is as always top notch.
Magpul Excellence

Locks (even on a closed bolt) and releases perfectly as you would expect from a Magpul product. 60 rounds in a mag that is shorter than a standard 30rd Pmag. Awesome product.
Needs better "Load Assist"

Only Knock is it should have a "Load Assist Nut" on the front to hook up a wrench to help load, Common MagPul.......

I'll be absolutely honest... I have no use for this BUT I purchased it simply because I want to have it should SHTF and also to just have it because I've always wanted one. Fit and finish is great. I loaded it up with ammo and it certainly works just fine. Loading it up was super easy, unloading it was also easy but man I really wish I could have just shot the ammo to get it out.
I'd certainly update my review after a couple of range trips to test functionality.
The go to drum magazine for AR's

High quality drum. I am a big fan of these mags and now have acquired 3 of them. Very easy to load and unload. They are also easily disassembled for cleaning and maintaining the magazine long term. I have never had a single problem with these D60's. They feed steel cased Tula no problem and can be safely stored fully loaded for years without damage or loss of function. I keep one loaded at all times in my home defense AR and trust it with protecting myself and my family. Go ahead and pick one up now before the landscape changes and they are no longer available. If a magazine ban occurred these would be worth their weight in gold.
Definitely not a need but a want 😍😂

So far so good.... it's a lot lighter and smaller than I anticipated which is good! Only thing is that I haven't had a chance to go full out Rambo yet cause the range won't allow it so I gotta make a trip to the mountains soon 😂
They just rock!

Magpul quality and dependability. I have 2 of these I use in competition every weekend. These mags are my go to workhorse.
Magpul Quality As Expected

Fit and finish is great. Out of the box you can tell it is built tough. Getting to the one negative, loading is not fun! However, it is doable and without the aid of a loader. Takes a few rounds to get the knack but it comes to you in the first dozen. Unloading is not bad. The rest is all good! Loaded up you do have some weight but not much more than two loaded mags and a coupler would be. Slammed a full drum of 60 in to my Del-ton with the bolt closed, No Problem. My weapon has a Fostech Echo Trigger so I let loose with 8 to 10 round bursts of Federal 55 gr. 5.56 ball with zero failures and the bolt held open on last round. I feel a full 60 dump would have been possible with no problems. The dust cover that comes with the mag stays on when you want it to but is not difficult to remove. I have heard the Pro Mag has problems but this sure does not!I have no buyers remorse and would recommend this to anyone that has a desire for one.
