The Talon Ambidextrous safety selector is an easy way to make your AR-15 more user friendly by allowing left and right-handed manipulations. It is important to be able to manipulate your rifle from multiple positions and this selector switch adds the ergonomics required to be able to do so. Machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum, this safety selector can be changed between a 90° and 45° throw for faster operation. The selector lever is easy to install with the spring-loaded retention spring that locks it in place without the need for screws. This ensures that it remains engaged and won’t come loose unless intended. The screw-less design reduces the risk of parts breakage so that your firearm is ready to be used at a moments notice. Update/Correction to Previous Review Left

Time to eat some humble pie. I left a review stating the detents and springs were not included. I have found them and it was completely my fault for not seeing them. They were tucked into the instruction pamphlet. The install is very easy, angle the short detent opening down for the 45 degree angle and the wider detent opening down for the 90 degree angle. Snap is tactile and positive, but not too much resistance. Very crisp when switching between safe and fire. Ignore my previous review stating detents and springs not included, they 100% are. Just be more diligent in you looking than I was.

Quality but no springs or detents

I don’t know how Radian thinks selling this for over $50 is good deal when you don’t even include everything needed to install. If you purchase the black version of this, you get the pins and segments, but apparently not the colored ones. Would have bought a different brand that came with springs and detents if I’d known. Safety is good (as expected) but if you are building from scratch like I am, you’ll need to buy everything else needed to install a safety. 5 star for quality of item, but 3 star overall for charging premium price and not including everything needed, especially since springs and detents probably cost .99 cents to be included.
