The Radical Firearms Gen 3 M-LOK AR-15 Free Float Handguard is a Primary Arms Exclusive 10" handguard built for shooters who want a lightweight, slim free float design with a strong mounting system and a full-length Picatinny top rail. With a 4140 steel barrel nut, anti-rotation tabs, and a 3rd generation mounting system designed for rigidity, this handguard covers mid-length gas systems while keeping unnecessary weight off the build.
The Gen 3 M-LOK AR-15 Free Float Handguard is a free float handguard designed for AR-15 mid-length builds, featuring a monolithic M1913 Picatinny top rail, M-LOK accessory compatibility, a 3rd generation mounting system with 4140 steel barrel nut, and anti-rotation tabs for alignment with Mil-Spec upper receivers.
The monolithic M1913 Picatinny top rail provides a seamless, continuous mounting surface for sights, optics, and accessories. M-LOK compatibility across the handguard surfaces allows direct attachment of lights, grips, and accessories without the weight of unused Picatinny rail sections. The 3rd generation mounting system is engineered for rigidity, reducing deflection when bracing against barriers or shooting from a bipod. Anti-rotation tabs interface with Mil-Spec upper receivers to ensure proper top rail alignment. The 4140 steel barrel nut provides a strong, secure clamping point, and the 1.375" internal diameter accommodates most low-profile gas blocks.

Poor Quality - Very Sharp

This is the first rail I have ever purchased that truly feels like a cheese grater. The holes are very sharp and specifically the holes for the screws that put tension on the barrel nut had burrs on them. I have never complained about receiving a scratched product although I have received many from various vendors over the years. This is different. This product has not been deburred or gone through a vibratory polisher. It feels very sharp and I intended to use it on a build for a woman so this matters.

Won’t fit all uppers. The dog-ears on top intended to find & hold it centered didn’t allow it to get within 3/4” of the intended upper. I tried it on another brand upper & it fit but wouldn’t clock straight. I’ll be cutting the dog-ears off tomorrow. Fortunately Primary Arms gave me a great deal on it.
Beefy handguard

I’ve yet to install this handguard but it’s pretty stout and I’m ok with that. If you aren’t looking for a high end handguard or just something that will get abused this fits the bill. I caught it on sale so I’ll give it a try.

Unfortunately I kept this handguard. Barrel nut wouldn't fit hand guard without sanding. Used a dead blow. Sharp edges. Radical sucks.

Looks and feels great. Finish could have been a rap better then my liking but…. Never the less I’m a picky person. It is a solid product and made my ar look sick

Purchased two of these handguards. The handguard and barrel nut are packaged in one plastic sleeve. So you guessed it, will arrive at your place looking like they were drug under the UPS truck. Then the ears on the handguard that keep it from spinning, make contact with my upper receiver and leave an 1/8 + inch gap. I love primary arms but you guys should have radical do a LOT better packing job.

Strong, lightweight and attarctive 10" handguard for use on my lightweight KE Arms polymer stock and lower as a designated 22lr (AR-22.) It's lightweight and a somewhat unique design. Price is good at $50.00, not so much at $100 so wait for it to go on sale. When may grab another when they go on sale again.

I am pleased with the quality for the price I paid. What I like most about this rail is that it is slim, light, and very easy to install/remove. The cons are there are some sharp/pointy edges and it’s not completely bombproof because it uses a few machine screws to secure it by pressure only. All things considered, I’m happy with it and it worked well for my build.
