Very Nice

I got this hand guard for my latest build. The finish matched my Aero upper and lower perfectly. It’s a simple installation and unlike one of the other reviews mine was a snug fit before tightening the screws. It’s light weight, durable and looks amazing covering my 18” Ballistic Advantage mid length barrel. I highly recommend this hand guard for any build not just budget builds.
Decent for the money

It appears sturdy. The instructions are not accurate, as you need an 1 3/16 crowfoot wrench for installation. I recommend a 3/8 drive wrench, as the 1/2 drive are too wide to fit. There is no qd spot, so an mlok one has to be added. For $50, not a complaint. I did have to source a wrench (I have a set of too thick 1/2 inch drive) that had to be special ordered on line. Keep those two additional costs in mind, had I known, I would have spent more and bought a complete aero precision instead. I also had to use a mallet for it to be snug with upper. Again, it was only $50.

The price was right on this however i did have to file the alignment ears (my word) to clear mounting it on the upper. It was an relatively easy fix which is why I only knocked one star off

I had to modify the handgaurd to get it to work as desired. I was not able to get it to tighten down to the provided barrel nut. No matter how tight I attempted to get the two mounting bolts, they would not pull the split mount down evenly enough to get a straight secure fit. I ended up lengthening the split the entire length of the clamping surface and added two more 8/32" tapped holes. This allowed me to use four bolts rather than two and with the lengthened split, I could get a more evenly distributed surface contact with the barrel nut. This modification fixed the mounting issue and provided an extremely tight well-fitting result.
A few other things to note. The color is a matte grey-ish black. The edges are not chamfered or smoothed in any way. The edges can easily be smoothed with a little bench work and the color really doesn't bother me. I will conclude with this thought; it was a budget handguard, that with a little modification, will work perfectly.

Price was right, shipping was fast and hand guard was so much better than expected!!! Only thing were some sharp edges on 2,4,8 and the 10 o’clock so be advised, but on the same note they’re not uncomfortably sharp and they actually help with the grip!!!!

Install was simple, finish is good. Feels sharp in the hand though. I'll update after I use for a bit.

Great hand guard for the price. I was going to replace when I had more money but I changed my mind .light wait very solid anti rotation tabs ( pretty good hand guard for a radical) I wish it had a better finish but I would still buy again for the price.

I just wrote a review forgot to mention that I got this hand guard for around 57$ I thought so cheap be wise it was a radical but after seeing the quality I think pricing was a mistake

Caught this on sale for $35.00. Can't really complain. Good quality, scuffed a bit due to shipping. More of a Parkerized finish than smooth anodized.

I was a little skeptical on the quality of this hand guard due to the flash sale they had it listed. It was easy to install after purchasing a 1 3/16" Crowfoot wrench. I used a cantilever mount to span from the top of the receiver to the top of the hand guard for alignment and proper spacing of the slots before tightening the screws on the hand guard. Perfect. All in all, its a very nice hand guard for the price. I would not pay regular price listed for this hand guard, but sale price, I'd buy it again. No hesitation.
