Radical Firearms A2 Flash Hider - 1/2x28

The flash hider looked nice out of the box. During installation the nitride finish came right off. Spray paint would have held up better. I expected better from a "nitride finish."

You cannot tell this from any other "high" quality overpriced flash hider out there.Threads were beautiful,finish was just as expected!

I have used flash hiders from several other manufacturers, even generic ones from random places. These are the lowest quality flash hiders I have come across. The "QPQ" coating is like a thick spray paint that flakes off easily when threaded. The threads are also rough and gritty from whatever these are coated with. The crush washer is the thinnest of any I have seen. I recommend replacing it should you purchase this product. This flash hider will not match any of your anodized or QPQ coated parts as the finish is darker and glossy.

The nitride finish was so thick on the threads that it would not hand turn from the start. I had to use a wrench and tighten and loosen it to clean the threads out. After that it was fine. The finish is definitely thick and good. Not a scratch on it.

Typical A2 but with a nice, smooth, dark finish. Crush washer is also included. Awesome deal is an understatement.

Did not fit as threads were out of spec. Bought the J-Comp V2 and installed with no problems. Good paperweight though but not a good flash hider.

Threads are cut wrong . Cheap but not worth it wont be tricked again .

It works well and I love the redesigned cuts. Bought it after seeing MrGunsnGear's review.

Excellent A2 hider. Especially for the price. No issues with the nitride or any issues with the threads. Hand spun right on the barrel.

Out of Spec, not worth your time.
