Rosco Manufacturing takes their barrels seriously. Rather than entrust someone else's blanks or machining, they produce every barrel from scratch, controlling every step of the manufacturing process. The Bloodline series is cut from high-strength 41V50 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel, the same stuff chosen for the rifles used by our military for its exceptional durability. Improving on the military-grade barrels, the Bloodline-series are finished with a highly corrosion resistant, low friction salt bath nitride treatment, making cleaning easier than ever. By producing these barrels entirely in house, they've also been able to tune each barrel by selecting the optimal twist rates, gas port diameters, dwell times, and materials according to the needs of each barrel.
This 16" barrel is machined to a balanced Government contour, offering a solid balance between rigidity and weight. The smooth shooting mid-length gas system ensures your rifle gets the optimal amount of gas for reliable cycling while offering smoother recoil characteristics. The 5.56 NATO chamber is fully compatible with .223 Remington ammunition, with a 1:7 twist rate that is perfect for heavier, precision-oriented cartridges, but is thoroughly functional with popular and less expensive bullet weights.
Rosco Manufacturing got their start producing high quality, hard-use precision rifle barrels. Great barrel

What a fantastic barrel, I just cannot believe the quality for the price.cannot comment on moa, but I'm sure it's there. I'll probably be purchasing another 1 to have on hand. PA is a great place to buy 4 all your needs, and shipping is insanely fast.

I would and will buy again. Comes in 3 boxes. The shipping, a white one with flaps and your thinking “oh no, subpar”, then you pull out a nice two piece black box and then the feeling you get unboxing an apple product, like that. Inside it sits secured in foam blocks with two stickers which are high quality vinyl and a nice thank you card. Barrels laser etched with logo and specs and also pre dimpled for your gas block needs. If your thinking about it, it’s worth it. Haven’t shot it yet but for a company that holds military, law enforcement and big player gun maker contracts I’m sure it’ll be on target! Sorry, had to.

This barrel is more accurate than I am. The finish is great and it comes pre-dimpled for the gas block set screws which makes installing your gas block a breeze

Excellent nitrided barrel and PROPERLY gassed. Running a springco blue with Expo H3 buffer and its perfect ejection. Fit and finish is better than expected would definitely recommend.

Badass barrel

I had the 14.5" bloodline in carbine length and loved it, but got sick of arbitrary "pistol" attachment restrictions. Upgraded to 16" with mid-length gas system and it runs about the same, but now I can have a big boy rifle stock and a vertical grip between my mag and afg. Anyway, I'm really glad I decided to stick with the rosco barrel!

I have a lot a AR's and this is the first Rosco barrel I have "knowingly" tried. Right off the bat I was immediately impressed with how well gassed this thing was. The second thing that amazed me was the accuracy of this barrel and the lack of flyers. For the price I really don't think you will find a better barrel on the market.
